In the 6th minute, Gคгςђ๏Ŧค's Alesandro Del Piero dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. The corner ended in Fermin Baladi almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Paulopolis's George Smitt did a great save. If Alesandro Del Piero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 20th minute Dieguinho Amaral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arturo Lopez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alesandro Del Piero stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Joélson Souza didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dieguinho Amaral could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Arturo Lopez made a huge save. Joélson Souza charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Joélson Souza the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Paulopolis's Joélson Souza got a free kick in the 69th minute. If Alesandro Del Piero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 74 minutes into the match, Paulopolis's goal looked a bit too open when Alesandro Del Piero came free, but George Smitt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 75th minute, Alesandro Del Piero ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. George Smitt was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. When the match had gone on for 78 minutes, Alesandro Del Piero put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of George Smitt. Alesandro Del Piero's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but George Smitt read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. Gคгςђ๏Ŧค's attentive Battle Muller managed to snatch the ball when Joélson Souza made a throw-in in the 86th minute of the game. Enrique Falcão kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. 88 minutes into the match, Alesandro Del Piero had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of George Smitt. Paulopolis's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alesandro Del Piero was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. George Smitt came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Gคгςђ๏Ŧค's Alesandro Del Piero. But to his dismay, Alesandro Del Piero quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0.
