Carel Van de Schrieck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Herbert Springelkamp, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. FFC Merainies 03's Gregor Compaan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save FFC Merainies 03 from getting a goal against them. Ludwig Kloots fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gregor Compaan having to interfere. Ludwig Kloots hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herbert Springelkamp in the 17th minute of play forced Café DE PLOEG's goalkeeper Carel Van de Schrieck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 21st minute Max Duinhoven shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carel Van de Schrieck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carel Van de Schrieck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Max Duinhoven in the 26th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers 龚康松 in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gregor Compaan saved FFC Merainies 03 from getting behind. FFC Merainies 03's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Max Duinhoven in the 29th minute. FFC Merainies 03's Max Duinhoven was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Carel Van de Schrieck in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After 31 minutes Café DE PLOEG's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Max Duinhoven who took care of the corner kick. A collision led to FFC Merainies 03 getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Ricky Stolte hit a great ball. 34 minutes into the match, FFC Merainies 03's Frans Geurtsen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Carel Van de Schrieck narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Carel Van de Schrieck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Herbert Springelkamp in the 35th minute of play. In the 38th minute Ludwig Kloots shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gregor Compaan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gregor Compaan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 龚康松 in the 40th minute of the match. Ricky Stolte scored 0-1 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Carel Van de Schrieck, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 45 minutes into the match, 龚康松 notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of FFC Merainies 03's Gregor Compaan. Gregor Compaan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

With an all-out effort, FFC Merainies 03's Carel Van de Schrieck threw himself towards the right post 54 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Frans Geurtsen, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Carel Van de Schrieck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Youri Bemmel, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Gregor Compaan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 龚康松 in the 61st minute of play. In the 62nd match minute, Café DE PLOEG was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Charl De Metser to maneuver through the defense. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Herbert Springelkamp couldn't finish the play. In the 86th minute Herbert Springelkamp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carel Van de Schrieck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Frans Geurtsen came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the FFC Merainies 03 fans jumped to their feet.
