With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cederik Huts prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Dylan Verhaert took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Ricardo Hendrickx to make any attempt to save it. 33 minutes into the match, Twierdza Osowiec's goalkeeper Ricardo Hendrickx had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dylan Verhaert. A collision led to Kickers United getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Niels Vandamme hit a great ball. In the 35th minute Marcelo Gay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cederik Huts saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pepo Orihuela hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. In the 40th minute of the match Twierdza Osowiec got a corner. Kickers United's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Marcelo Gay ran over to the corner to take the kick. Ricardo Hendrickx made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dino Maquiano in the 42nd minute of play. 43 minutes into the match, Twierdza Osowiec's goal looked a bit too open when Dino Maquiano came free, but Ricardo Hendrickx reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Timothy Strauss made the kick off in the second half. Twierdza Osowiec's Ricardo Hendrickx played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dino Maquiano in the 60th minute of play. In the 63rd minute of the match, Timothy Strauss got a very nice opportunity to score, but Cederik Huts was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Joško Van Landschoot might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cederik Huts. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out.
