Loco Malo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Lizer in the 14th minute of play. Machine Gun Kelly's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Marcial Veremundo ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Marcial Veremundo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Machine Gun Kelly's Tadeo Udalaitz did a great save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Andreas Hellsing in the 97th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tadeo Udalaitz saved Machine Gun Kelly from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Lagrima en Jarrita's zone, Conrado Erramun stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Loco Malo came out of the goal and Conrado Erramun tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

Lagrima en Jarrita played a much better game than Machine Gun Kelly and deserved their victory. The Machine Gun Kelly players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
