The corner was taken by Bartosz Bereszynski in the 33rd minute. It was a well-played corner which Roman Koenig managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Charlie Boström made the kick off in the second half. Luiz Paulo Vaz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aykut Canel, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. In the 63rd minute A.A. Francana were awarded a corner. Bartosz Bereszynski went to the cornerflag to take it. São José E. C. were awarded a corner in the 67th minute after A.A. Francana's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luís Gustavo Paraíba took the corner. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roman Koenig in the 70th minute of play forced São José E. C.'s goalkeeper Luiz Paulo Vaz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 77 minutes had been played when some careless play by A.A.
