With his leg Pascal Collier managed to avoid a goal in the 18thth minute, when Galo do Cerrado's Beto dos Santos fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. With an all-out effort, Galo do Cerrado's Pascal Collier threw himself towards the right post 20 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Beto dos Santos, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When Geoffrey Rubin fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mountain West FC's protests and gave Geoffrey Rubin a yellow card for diving instead. After 20 played minutes Mountain West FC got a freekick which was hit by Geoffrey Rubin. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Mountain West FC's goalkeeper Pascal Collier, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 24 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Galo do Cerrado's Beto dos Santos fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Pascal Collier didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sebastian Drewitz went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Pascal Collier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Almantas Plungys in the 41st minute of the match. In the 43rd minute, Almantas Plungys fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. When the match clock showed 44 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Beto dos Santos sped through Mountain West FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Pascal Collier. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cole Ciccaglione was the one to do the kick off. When the match had gone on for 67 minutes, Beto dos Santos put it in 8-0 from a short distance just to the right of Pascal Collier. Galo do Cerrado made a substitution. Jean-Yves Amand replaced Wesley Richard. In the 76th match minute, Mountain West FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jess Hollandsworth to maneuver through the defense.
