In the 10th minute of the match HİSAR got a corner. Deportivo Popolizio FBC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Christian Martxelin ran over to the corner to take the kick. HİSAR's Federico Petrella was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Hermann Hesse in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mehmet Anıl Açıker in the 16th minute of play forced Deportivo Popolizio FBC's goalkeeper Hermann Hesse to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 18th minute, Deportivo Popolizio FBC's Evelio Inguanzo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mehmet Anıl Açıker in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hermann Hesse saved Deportivo Popolizio FBC from getting behind. In the 33rd minute, Mehmet Anıl Açıker made a precise shot to the right of Hermann Hesse. Deportivo Popolizio FBC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Geir Søfteland hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. After 41 minutes of play, HİSAR's Mehmet Anıl Açıker made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hermann Hesse was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Mehmet Anıl Açıker in the 44th minute of play forced Deportivo Popolizio FBC's goalkeeper Hermann Hesse to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Evelio Inguanzo to make the kick off. Edvin Lundgren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evelio Inguanzo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Deportivo Popolizio FBC's Erruki Velarroa was substituted for Evelio Inguanzo. Turabi Uçbeyi made in the 58th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Deportivo Popolizio FBC's Damian Regulez. In the 67th minute Şakir Okcan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hermann Hesse saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Deportivo Popolizio FBC getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Tom Misaki hit a great ball. Marc Stenberg hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. With an all-out effort, HİSAR's Hermann Hesse threw himself towards the right post 73 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Şakir Okcan, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Mehmet Anıl Açıker could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Hermann Hesse made a huge save. HİSAR's Mehmet Anıl Açıker managed to work through Deportivo Popolizio FBC's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Mehmet Anıl Açıker dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. HİSAR made a substitution. Su Zhen replaced Jaime Patrício. HİSAR's Güvenç Deveci was substituted for Şakir Okcan. Güvenç Deveci sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Hermann Hesse made an important save on a dangerous shot by Güvenç Deveci in the 88th minute. Edvin Lundgren came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Deportivo Popolizio FBC's Torbjørn Trondsen. But to his dismay, Torbjørn Trondsen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Edvin Lundgren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erruki Velarroa, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Neither Deportivo Popolizio FBC or HİSAR succeeded in finding a winner during the second half. That meant the players faced another 30 minutes of extra-time.

After 99 played minutes HİSAR got a freekick which was hit by Güvenç Deveci. With a little luck, HİSAR's Edvin Lundgren got control of the ball when Erruki Velarroa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Deportivo Popolizio FBC's Torbjørn Trondsen got a good chance for a goal in the 101st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. HİSAR's Edvin Lundgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Torbjørn Trondsen in the 103rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 106th minute, Erruki Velarroa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deportivo Popolizio FBC's supporters rose to their feet, but Erruki Velarroa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edvin Lundgren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hermann Hesse showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Su Zhen, who was totally free with the ball in the 108th minute. 111 minutes into the match, HİSAR's goal looked a bit too open when Torbjørn Trondsen came free, but Edvin Lundgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edvin Lundgren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erruki Velarroa in the 113th minute of the match. Deportivo Popolizio FBC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
