The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hakkı Deniz Danış was the one to do the kick off. Champions Iasi's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Iustin Coporan in the 54th minute. When Lucas Alwege fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored North Port UTD's protests and gave Lucas Alwege a yellow card for diving instead. Lucas Alwege hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. If Iustin Coporan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. North Port UTD made a substitution. Frank Lauria showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ercan Şerif, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. The supporters of Champions Iasi booed when North Port UTD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dean Arrascaeta didn't get a good kick on the ball.
