When Remus Agudaru came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the THE CRYSTAL SHIP fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Remus Agudaru couldn't finish the play. Mugurel Moculescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Remus Agudaru stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Edgar Josan's late challenge caught a Pepsi FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edgar Josan helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Pepsi FC booed when THE CRYSTAL SHIP was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. THE CRYSTAL SHIP's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pepsi FC the free kick. After 66 played minutes THE CRYSTAL SHIP got a freekick which was hit by Codruț Turcescu. In the 67th minute Markus Strand shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mugurel Moculescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Karl-Magnus Hultin succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-2 in the 69th playminute. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pepsi FC's goalkeeper Kjell Söderberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Edgar Josan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kjell Söderberg having to interfere. After 79 minutes, Remus Agudaru made it 3-2 with a short kick to the right side. Pepsi FC's Kjell Söderberg tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Pepsi FC's Kjell Söderberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Remus Agudaru in the 81st minute of play. Remus Agudaru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
