The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When FC Galicia Lviv's Vladyslav Tovt in the 3rd minute got a chance for a shot 3rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bene Animatus's goalie prevented a goal. Ruslan Golaydo's late challenge caught a Bene Animatus's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ruslan Golaydo helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to FC Galicia Lviv getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Ruslan Golaydo hit a great ball. Marcus Aparecido struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Valentyn Shuga didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bene Animatus. Henrique Tavares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Danylo Zayets, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Henrique Tavares came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Galicia Lviv's Artur Lytvynchuk. But to his dismay, Artur Lytvynchuk quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. When Artur Lytvynchuk fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Galicia Lviv's protests and gave Artur Lytvynchuk a yellow card for diving instead. Artur Lytvynchuk kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. 18 minutes into the game, Danylo Zayets was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Galicia Lviv's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bene Animatus the free kick. A collision led to FC Galicia Lviv getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Danylo Zayets hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Vladyslav Tovt's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Henrique Tavares was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. When Cauan Bertassi came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Bene Animatus fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cauan Bertassi couldn't finish the play. Vladyslav Tovt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Artur Lytvynchuk recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Artur Lytvynchuk hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Bene Animatus's Henrique Tavares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vladyslav Tovt in the 38th minute of play. Henrique Tavares came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by FC Galicia Lviv's Vladyslav Tovt. But to his dismay, Vladyslav Tovt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Kostyantyn Svintsitskyi managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Galicia Lviv's supporters rose to their feet, but Kostyantyn Svintsitskyi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Henrique Tavares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vladyslav Tovt in the 58thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Henrique Tavares, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After having played for 59 minutes, Emílio Eger managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bene Animatus's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emílio Eger was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bene Animatus's Henrique Tavares proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Bene Animatus from getting a goal against them. Vladyslav Tovt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henrique Tavares having to interfere. 71 minutes into the game, Marcus Aparecido was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bene Animatus's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Galicia Lviv the free kick. A collision led to Bene Animatus getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Marcus Aparecido hit a great ball. FC Galicia Lviv were awarded a corner in the 74th minute after Bene Animatus's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Kostyantyn Svintsitskyi took the corner. Kostyantyn Svintsitskyi made a great header on FC Galicia Lviv's corner, it was just that Bene Animatus's Henrique Tavares managed to reach the ball for a save. If Danylo Zayets had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vladyslav Tovt got free with Henrique Tavares in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Henrique Tavares made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vladyslav Tovt in the 92nd minute. Charles Lopes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 94 played minutes FC Galicia Lviv got a freekick which was hit by Dmytro Zorya. Henrique Tavares made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Vladyslav Tovt sent off a good shot on target. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched FC Galicia Lviv eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
