In the 18th minute Urbano Benvido shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Belmiro Montenegro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE's Belmiro Montenegro got control of the ball when Fernando Carrasqueira tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 24th match minute, E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ruy Melo to maneuver through the defense. 30 minutes into the match, E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE's goal looked a bit too open when Urbano Benvido came free, but Belmiro Montenegro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Belmiro Montenegro. Tony Guimarães showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafinha Custódio in the 35th minute of the match. Tony Guimarães showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafinha Custódio, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

After 51 played minutes C. A. Atlanta got a freekick which was hit by Romulo Hever. After having played for 54 minutes, Rafinha Custódio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rafinha Custódio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Belmiro Montenegro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Urbano Benvido in the 56th minute of the match. Belmiro Montenegro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Urbano Benvido in the 59th minute of play. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE's goalkeeper Belmiro Montenegro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
