A collision led to OROTINENSE getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Jacek Walczak hit a great ball. Liu Yong Yong made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvano Rudolfo in the 58th minute of play. C. A. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jacek Walczak got free with Tony Guimarães in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Iordache Opincaru received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tony Guimarães came out and tried to block the shot, but Iordache Opincaru slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 67th minute. Jacek Walczak blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tony Guimarães having to make a save. C. A. Atlanta's Tony Guimarães played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iordache Opincaru in the 83rd minute of play. OROTINENSE's Liu Yong Yong played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernando Carrasqueira in the 85th minute of play.
