Liu Yong Yong showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from J.P. Kapar in the 19th minute of the match. After 19 minutes, Eddy Million made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. OROTINENSE's Liu Yong Yong tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by J.P. Kapar in the 22nd minute of play forced OROTINENSE's goalkeeper Liu Yong Yong to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ruhi Uluöz hit a great ball. 36 minutes into the match, OROTINENSE's goal looked a bit too open when Eddy Million came free, but Liu Yong Yong reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Roncourt were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jacek Walczak to make the kick off. Eddy Million recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Liu Yong Yong made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when J.P. Kapar sent off a good shot on target. Eddy Million could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Liu Yong Yong made a huge save. Ruhi Uluöz hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Lv Xiao Zhi might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Liu Yong Yong. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lv Xiao Zhi ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lv Xiao Zhi got free with Liu Yong Yong in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 71st minute of the match Leonel Cisneros sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Raymond Foubert skillfully saved the ball.
