Ksawery Bondel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Willy Witarya, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albin Nilsson in the 13th minute of play forced AC Mayonnaise's goalkeeper Ksawery Bondel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jimmy Olsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fredrik Åström in the 16th minute of play. AC Mayonnaise's Ksawery Bondel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Johan Johansson in the 17th minute of play. Jimmy Olsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fredrik Åström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ksawery Bondel came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Linköpings AIK's Johan Johansson. But to his dismay, Johan Johansson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. The AC Mayonnaise players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Linköpings AIK were winning 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arvid Carlsson made a kick off. In the 51st minute Johan Johansson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ksawery Bondel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arvid Carlsson in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ksawery Bondel saved AC Mayonnaise from getting behind. Marko Lenberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jimmy Olsson having to make a save. 84 minutes into the match, Linköpings AIK's goal looked a bit too open when Marko Lenberg came free, but Jimmy Olsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Linköpings AIK's Jimmy Olsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marko Lenberg in the 88th minute of play. AC Mayonnaise's Per-Erik Billvall was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jimmy Olsson in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 91st minute, Jan Göransson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Marko Lenberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Linköpings AIK players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
