Seating: 2369, VIP seats: 206) U21 Angola's Toni Godinho started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. U21 Angola's Custódio Teive played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jørund Leira in the 2nd minute of play. Custódio Teive made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jørund Leira in the 3rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan-Kenneth Holm in the 5th minute of play forced U21 Angola's goalkeeper Custódio Teive to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Custódio Teive took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sverre Robert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Custódio Teive made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sverre Robert in the 7th minute of play. Nuno Viegas hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Fredrik Molland was a little too slow when Toni Godinho got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 16th minute. The score was now 1-0. U21 Angola's attentive Hortêncio Camarinha managed to snatch the ball when Philip Kruse made a throw-in in the 19th minute of the game. With his leg Fredrik Molland managed to avoid a goal in the 20thth minute, when U21 Angola's Toni Godinho fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 23 minutes into the game, Toni Godinho recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Fredrik Molland. Toni Godinho showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. 27 minutes into the game, Philip Kruse was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. U21 Norway's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave U21 Angola the free kick. After a rather tough play, U21 Norway's Philip Kruse got a free kick in the 27th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Roth in the 29th minute of play forced U21 Angola's goalkeeper Custódio Teive to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jan-Kenneth Holm to make the kick off. U21 Norway's Fredrik Molland played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Toni Godinho in the 52nd minute of play. After some careless play in the U21 Norway defense, Toni Godinho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fredrik Molland. The U21 Norway fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fredrik Molland should have stopped the shot. In the 65th minute, Jan-Kenneth Holm reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Custódio Teive. The goal made the score 3-1. 68 minutes into the match, Toni Godinho notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of U21 Norway's Fredrik Molland. Fredrik Molland was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Philip Kruse made in the 72nd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Jørund Leira however managed to control. 75 minutes into the game, Toni Godinho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Fredrik Molland was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 79 minutes of play, U21 Angola's Toni Godinho made it 6-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fredrik Molland was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Carlos Caneças during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 82nd minute, Carlos Caneças hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to U21 Angola getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Nuno Viegas hit a great ball. The supporters of U21 Angola booed when U21 Norway was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jan-Kenneth Holm didn't get a good kick on the ball. 87 minutes into the game, U21 Angola's Toni Godinho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fredrik Molland made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-1. When the match had gone on for 91 minutes, Toni Godinho put it in 8-1 from a short distance just to the right of Fredrik Molland. Fredrik Molland showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Toni Godinho in the 95th minute of the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The U21 Angola fans cheered their team off the field, for while U21 Norway had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
