After having played for 3 minutes, Christian Kilstedt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. RedBull Diósgyőr FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Christian Kilstedt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A nice corner shot did that Dan Eftimiu got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Benjámin Csontos quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The crowd rose to their feet as Miromir Osikowicz kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Avram Nițoi. That made the score 1-0 in the 9 minute of play. Benjámin Csontos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dan Eftimiu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 14th minute Dan Eftimiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benjámin Csontos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benjámin Csontos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Matei Udrescu's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. Isac Melentie hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Avram Nițoi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Máté Kiss in the 24th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Christian Kilstedt kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Avram Nițoi. That made the score 2-0 in the 27 minute of play. Matei Udrescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Benjámin Csontos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sorin Stoica, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. 35 minutes into the match, RedBull Diósgyőr FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dan Eftimiu came free, but Benjámin Csontos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, THE CRYSTAL SHIP's Avram Nițoi got control of the ball when Miromir Osikowicz tried to sneak it across the goal line. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Matei Udrescu to strike the kick off in the second half. With his leg Benjámin Csontos managed to avoid a goal in the 52ndth minute, when THE CRYSTAL SHIP's Matei Udrescu fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 53 minutes into the game, Isac Melentie was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. THE CRYSTAL SHIP's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave RedBull Diósgyőr FC the free kick. The supporters of RedBull Diósgyőr FC booed when THE CRYSTAL SHIP was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isac Melentie didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benjámin Csontos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sorin Stoica in the 59th minute. 61 minutes into the match, Miromir Osikowicz notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of THE CRYSTAL SHIP's Avram Nițoi. Avram Nițoi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 63 minutes of play THE CRYSTAL SHIP's Isac Melentie was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Máté Kiss blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Avram Nițoi having to make a save. THE CRYSTAL SHIP's Avram Nițoi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miromir Osikowicz in the 68th minute of play. If Matei Udrescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Máté Kiss in the 70th minute of play forced THE CRYSTAL SHIP's goalkeeper Avram Nițoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Matei Udrescu was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 72nd minute. THE CRYSTAL SHIP's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. With his leg Benjámin Csontos managed to avoid a goal in the 75thth minute, when THE CRYSTAL SHIP's Matei Udrescu fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 78 played minutes RedBull Diósgyőr FC got a freekick which was hit by Pál Kormos. In the 85th minute Christian Kilstedt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Avram Nițoi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The RedBull Diósgyőr FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while THE CRYSTAL SHIP had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
