THE CRYSTAL SHIP's Matei Udrescu got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Volmar Mouritzen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 20th minute Per Nørbjerg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Avram Nițoi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 24 minutes into the match, Hønning's goalkeeper Gert Altorn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sorin Stoica. Gert Altorn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matei Udrescu in the 25th minute of the match. After 31 played minutes Hønning got a freekick which was hit by Per Nørbjerg. Matei Udrescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Gert Altorn made a huge save. Dan Eftimiu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Gert Altorn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 42 minutes into the game, Askild Ene was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hønning's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave THE CRYSTAL SHIP the free kick. Askild Ene hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Gert Altorn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robert Patriciu, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Dinu Iureș was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 47 minutes into the match. Olav Blommegaard, 48 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The THE CRYSTAL SHIP players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Hønning were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Volmar Mouritzen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Per Nørbjerg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Avram Nițoi made a huge save. 55 minutes into the match, THE CRYSTAL SHIP's goalkeeper Avram Nițoi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Per Nørbjerg. After a defensive mix-up in THE CRYSTAL SHIP's zone, Torben Steenhede stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Avram Nițoi came out of the goal and Torben Steenhede tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. THE CRYSTAL SHIP's Avram Nițoi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Volmar Mouritzen in the 71st minute of play. In the 72nd minute, Hønning's Volmar Mouritzen dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. Matei Udrescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Gert Altorn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Avram Nițoi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Volmar Mouritzen, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. A collision led to Hønning getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Volmar Mouritzen hit a great ball. Sorin Stoica sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Askild Ene had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Askild Ene was shown his second yellow card after 98 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match.
