The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Fillip Sivananda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. The supporters of U21 Chile booed when U21 Denmark was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rune Perlstrøm didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 7 minutes, Vicente Calderón managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. U21 Chile's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vicente Calderón was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Constantin Corfitzen in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Yerko Courtois prevented the ball from getting in the gole. U21 Denmark's Einar Klysnov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelino Calzada in the 24th minute of play. If Constantin Corfitzen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Constantin Corfitzen took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Yerko Courtois. Yerko Courtois dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After a rather tough play, U21 Chile's Vicente Calderón got a free kick in the 39th minute. In the 40th minute, Asmus Molbo sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and U21 Chile's Yerko Courtois didn't even have to move. After 47 played minutes U21 Denmark got a freekick which was hit by Fillip Sivananda. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The wind increased when Adolf Eichmann made the kick off in the second half. Yerko Courtois made an important save on a dangerous shot by Teddy Hare in the 55th minute. In the 60th minute, Romeo Bermúdez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. U21 Denmark's Jannich Wandler was substituted for Asmus Molbo. U21 Chile made a substitution. Victor Hugo Painevilu replaced Adolf Eichmann. U21 Chile made a substitution. Hipolito Fritz replaced Marcelino Calzada. U21 Denmark's Eg Flensburg was substituted for Haakon Grenholt. With a little luck, U21 Chile's Yerko Courtois got control of the ball when Constantin Corfitzen tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jose Manuel Hernández kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Yerko Courtois acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 67th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Rune Perlstrøm. Yerko Courtois showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Louis Halmsted in the 68th minute of the match. Yerko Courtois showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fillip Sivananda, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Einar Klysnov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hipolito Fritz, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Constantin Corfitzen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Yerko Courtois made a huge save. Einar Klysnov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristopher Damian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The U21 Chile supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching U21 Denmark's performance. The match ended with a win for U21 Denmark.
