The supporters of Downchester City booed when Mandrake fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gau Abajas didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Mandrake fc's zone, Jose Heredia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ekaitz Prats came out of the goal and Jose Heredia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice moves Jose Heredia could shoot a difficult shot in the 28th minute, which Ekaitz Prats however easily saved by the left post. In the 30th minute, Moi Samaniego hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jose Heredia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Ekaitz Prats made a huge save. If Jose Heredia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Rubim Peralta's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fumo Canuto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rubim Peralta stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Rubim Peralta received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Fumo Canuto came out and tried to block the shot, but Rubim Peralta slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 89th minute. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
