After a rather tough play, U21 Chile's Cristopher Damian got a free kick in the 6th minute. 7 minutes into the match, U21 Chile's goalkeeper Rodrigo Huilipan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Salvadore Abaunza. A collision led to U21 Chile getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Cristopher Damian hit a great ball. U21 Chile's Rodrigo Huilipan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save U21 Chile from getting a goal against them. Rodrigo Huilipan made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Salvadore Abaunza sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Salvadore Abaunza managed to get in a good position for a shot. U21 Bolivia's supporters rose to their feet, but Salvadore Abaunza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rodrigo Huilipan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victor Hugo Painevilu in the 24th minute of play forced U21 Bolivia's goalkeeper Lope Abellaneda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rodrigo Huilipan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rolando Abella, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 59 minutes of play, U21 Chile's Cristopher Damian made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lope Abellaneda was left in no man's land by his defense there! 63 minutes into the match, Hipolito Fritz dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Lope Abellaneda, 0-2. U21 Chile's Marcelino Calzada was substituted for Hipolito Fritz. 67 minutes into the game, Enrique Parada was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. U21 Bolivia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave U21 Chile the free kick. Enrique Parada kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Rodrigo Huilipan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Salvadore Abaunza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. U21 Chile's attentive Tobías Jarpa managed to snatch the ball when David Checa made a throw-in in the 71st minute of the game. With a little luck, U21 Bolivia's Lope Abellaneda got control of the ball when Adolf Eichmann tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 75th minute, U21 Chile's Adolf Eichmann dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. In the 77th minute, Salvadore Abaunza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lope Abellaneda acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 78th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Ubaldo Matildo Klein. 81 minutes into the game, Américo Díaz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Rodrigo Huilipan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 84 minutes into the match, U21 Bolivia's goalkeeper Lope Abellaneda had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adolf Eichmann. Rodrigo Huilipan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Siles in the 85th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adolf Eichmann in the 88th minute of play forced U21 Bolivia's goalkeeper Lope Abellaneda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 94thth minute of the game Salvadore Abaunza who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but U21 Chile's Rodrigo Huilipan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Marcelino Calzada's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lope Abellaneda read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 98th minute of play. When the final whistle sounded U21 Chile left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than U21 Bolivia.
