Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rune Rundhaug in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Angel Peruzzi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. BATIgol FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Rune Rundhaug ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Rune Rundhaug almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but BATIgol FC's Angel Peruzzi did a great save. Erik Brenna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Unax in the 45th minute of the match. In the 47th match minute, BATIgol FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuel Refugio to maneuver through the defense. mixednutz XI's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. Emanuel Refugio thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Angel Peruzzi, a very annoying self made goal in the 50th minute which led to 1-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

After a rather tough play, BATIgol FC's Julian Unax got a free kick in the 55th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rune Rundhaug in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Angel Peruzzi saved BATIgol FC from getting behind. 61 minutes into the match, mixednutz XI's goalkeeper Erik Brenna had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alvaro Elija. An unexpectedly hard shot by Feliciano Orti in the 63rd minute of play forced mixednutz XI's goalkeeper Erik Brenna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Alvaro Elija came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the BATIgol FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alvaro Elija couldn't finish the play. In the 69thth minute of the game Rune Rundhaug who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but BATIgol FC's Angel Peruzzi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 73 minutes, Rune Rundhaug put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Angel Peruzzi. The supporters of mixednutz XI booed when BATIgol FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alvaro Elija didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rune Rundhaug in the 90th minute of play forced BATIgol FC's goalkeeper Angel Peruzzi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Emanuel Refugio during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
