After 15 minutes, Feliciano Orti mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the BATIgol FC and the YERSIYAHGOKBEYAZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of YERSIYAHGOKBEYAZ booed when BATIgol FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Feliciano Orti didn't get a good kick on the ball. Angel Peruzzi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mesut Onursu in the 16th minute of play. Mesut Onursu might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Angel Peruzzi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mesut Onursu ran back to his position shaking his head. Feliciano Orti hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. 20 minutes into the game, YERSIYAHGOKBEYAZ's Mesut Onursu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Angel Peruzzi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Utku Yuvakuran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Feliciano Orti in the 30th minute of the match. 39 minutes into the match, Julian Unax dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Utku Yuvakuran, 1-1. Angel Peruzzi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mesut Onursu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Angel Peruzzi came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by YERSIYAHGOKBEYAZ's Daniel Pancu. But to his dismay, Daniel Pancu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mesut Onursu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, BATIgol FC's goalkeeper Angel Peruzzi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Altuğ Talay. Arpád Hauer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angel Peruzzi having to interfere. Mesut Onursu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Angel Peruzzi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Angel Peruzzi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mesut Onursu in the 62nd minute. Mesut Onursu in the 63rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Angel Peruzzi, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Utku Yuvakuran showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alvaro Elija, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. In the 69th minute BATIgol FC were awarded a corner. Alvaro Elija went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led BATIgol FC's Alvaro Elija to fire away a dangerous shot which Utku Yuvakuran despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 71 minutes into the match, YERSIYAHGOKBEYAZ's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Unax came free, but Utku Yuvakuran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mesut Onursu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A nice corner shot did that Özbek Heper got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Angel Peruzzi quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 80th minute, Altuğ Talay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Utku Yuvakuran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Unax in the 87th minute of play. After 87 played minutes BATIgol FC got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Abeita. Galip Kutalmış's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 90thth minute, Angel Peruzzi skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Galip Kutalmış got free with Angel Peruzzi in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Feliciano Orti in the 95th minute of play forced YERSIYAHGOKBEYAZ's goalkeeper Utku Yuvakuran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. YERSIYAHGOKBEYAZ's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
