Dean Dams took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marios Kakavelakis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the RCD CARABANCHEL SAD defense, Dimitris Kourmouzis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dean Dams. The RCD CARABANCHEL SAD fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dean Dams should have stopped the shot. When the match had gone on for 14 minutes, Braulio Quintyn took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Kleanthis Kyriakou to make any attempt to save it. Kleanthis Kyriakou showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saul Selatse, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. AEK S.C's Kleanthis Kyriakou played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Braulio Quintyn in the 18th minute of play. Kleanthis Kyriakou showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saul Selatse in the 20th minute of the match. In the 21st minute of the match, Matias Aznaro got a very nice opportunity to score, but Kleanthis Kyriakou was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Kostas Zagorakis hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. AEK S.C's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Braulio Quintyn 25 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-1. 27 minutes into the match, AEK S.C's goalkeeper Kleanthis Kyriakou had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Matias Aznaro. Kleanthis Kyriakou made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Matias Aznaro sent off a good shot on target. 33 minutes into the match, RCD CARABANCHEL SAD's goal looked a bit too open when Vicente Buinton came free, but Dean Dams reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Saul Selatse kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Alekos Manolakis hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. After 46 played minutes AEK S.C got a freekick which was hit by Marcin Baszczyński. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vicente Buinton to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dimitris Kourmouzis in the 51st minute of play forced RCD CARABANCHEL SAD's goalkeeper Dean Dams to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. İbrahim Efe Zaim kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. 55 minutes into the match, RCD CARABANCHEL SAD's goal looked a bit too open when Dimitris Kourmouzis came free, but Dean Dams reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 57th minute, Matias Aznaro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kleanthis Kyriakou was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. Kleanthis Kyriakou made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Braulio Quintyn in the 63rd minute of play. Kleanthis Kyriakou came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by RCD CARABANCHEL SAD's Matias Aznaro. But to his dismay, Matias Aznaro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-1. If Braulio Quintyn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kleanthis Kyriakou didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Saul Selatse went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 9-1 was the resulting score. In the 77th minute, Braulio Quintyn ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kleanthis Kyriakou was frozen by the shot and now it was 10-1. After a rather tough play, RCD CARABANCHEL SAD's Saul Selatse got a free kick in the 81st minute. After 84 played minutes AEK S.C got a freekick which was hit by Marcin Baszczyński. In the 90th minute, Anibal Ekhi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kleanthis Kyriakou was frozen by the shot and now it was 11-1. Kleanthis Kyriakou took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saul Selatse, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There was no doubt that RCD CARABANCHEL SAD were the better team. RCD CARABANCHEL SAD's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
