With an all-out effort, Fc Urva United's Fabien Barthez threw himself towards the right post 15 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Joosep Eltmaa, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Lennie Sanderson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Egg Chasers FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Lennie Sanderson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Egon Einasto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fc Urva United's Egon Einasto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Des Wicks in the 20th minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, Egg Chasers FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hugo Haljas came free, but Fabien Barthez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fabien Barthez was out of position in the 30 minute of play, and Henrik Anton capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Henrik Anton really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. A collision led to Egg Chasers FC getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Jonny Wilkinson hit a great ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

In the 51st minute Hugo Haljas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabien Barthez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Severino Ourente hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Rein Raun's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fabien Barthez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind Egg Chasers FC's goalkeeper Fabien Barthez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 68 minutes into the match, Egg Chasers FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hugo Haljas came free, but Fabien Barthez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pete Partridge hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Fc Urva United's Egon Einasto got control of the ball when Des Wicks tried to sneak it across the goal line.
