The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Karl-Heinz Rummenigge was the one to do the kick off. Tomas Brandt made an important save on a dangerous shot by Otsando Fierro in the 52nd minute. In the 53rd minute Javier Agudo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Willian Cuesta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Alianza Trujillo fans cheered their team off the field, for while ARES FC DeusDeFutbol had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
