Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 4th minute Régis Paiva suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. After 4 minutes, Betinho Prestes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nacional de Rolândia and the America Futebol Clube SP players grew even worse after the yellow card. America Futebol Clube SP made a substitution. Carlos Veiga replaced Régis Paiva. In the 6th match minute, Nacional de Rolândia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Betinho Prestes to maneuver through the defense. 7 minutes into the match, America Futebol Clube SP's goal looked a bit too open when Cyryl Joks came free, but Gonçalo de Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bob Rocks short, quick shot in the 8thth minute got Gonçalo de Amorim to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Victor Negri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samuca Ramalho, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. America Futebol Clube SP's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Samuca Ramalho in the 13th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bob Rock got free with Gonçalo de Amorim in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Victor Negri stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edson Mendonça's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. After 21 minutes, Bob Rock made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. America Futebol Clube SP's Gonçalo de Amorim tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Nacional de Rolândia getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Betinho Prestes hit a great ball. In the 26th minute of the match Tales Koehler sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Victor Negri skillfully saved the ball. Gonçalo de Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bob Rock, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. America Futebol Clube SP's Gonçalo de Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bob Rock in the 31st minute of play. Nacional de Rolândia's Victor Negri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geovânio Netto in the 33rd minute of play. Edson Mendonça might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Victor Negri. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edson Mendonça ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 38th match minute, America Futebol Clube SP was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luiz Paulo Albuquerque to maneuver through the defense. Geovânio Netto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Victor Negri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gonçalo de Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Breno Siqueira, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Victor Negri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edson Mendonça in the 45th minute of the match. After 45 minutes of play, America Futebol Clube SP's Edson Mendonça made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Victor Negri was left in no man's land by his defense there!

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bob Rock stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Fernandinho Sena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. America Futebol Clube SP's Gonçalo de Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Breno Siqueira in the 52nd minute of play. After taking down the ball on Nacional de Rolândia's corner Breno Siqueira fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Gonçalo de Amorim quite easily take care of the ball. America Futebol Clube SP's Gonçalo de Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bob Rock in the 58th minute of play. Gonçalo de Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Breno Siqueira, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. In the 61st minute of the match Nacional de Rolândia got a corner. America Futebol Clube SP's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gabriel Quadros ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Gabriel Quadros almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but America Futebol Clube SP's Gonçalo de Amorim did a great save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bob Rock in the 63rd minute of play forced America Futebol Clube SP's goalkeeper Gonçalo de Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gonçalo de Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bob Rock in the 66th minute of the match. In the 69th minute, Edson Mendonça ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Victor Negri was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. America Futebol Clube SP's Gonçalo de Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bob Rock in the 73rd minute of play. In the 75th minute Bob Rock shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gonçalo de Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Nacional de Rolândia booed when America Futebol Clube SP was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sérgio Trigo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cyryl Joks succeeded in the game's 83rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-2. Geovânio Netto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victor Negri having to interfere. After 91 played minutes Nacional de Rolândia got a freekick which was hit by Ronaldinho Gaspar. Edson Mendonça who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 93rdth minute tested the skills of Victor Negri when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 94th match minute, Nacional de Rolândia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cyryl Joks to maneuver through the defense. The referee's whistle sounded for the end of the second half. The match was tied at 2-2. None of the players looked happy at the prospect of extra-time.

Bob Rock who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 99thth minute tested the skills of Gonçalo de Amorim when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Gonçalo de Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cyryl Joks in the 100th minute of the match. Breno Siqueira's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Gonçalo de Amorim firmly grabbed it by the left post. Gonçalo de Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bob Rock, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Nacional de Rolândia's Ronaldinho Gaspar got a free kick in the 105th minute. After 112 minutes Nacional de Rolândia's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Samuca Ramalho who took care of the corner kick. When America Futebol Clube SP's Edson Mendonça in the 112th minute got a chance for a shot 112th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Nacional de Rolândia's goalie prevented a goal.

When it was time for second half in the overtime, the players were a bit slow, but they soon became more alert when it was time for Bob Rock to make the kick off. Nacional de Rolândia were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of America Futebol Clube SP for a fine match.
