Edgardo Turi started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute Edgardo Turi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carmelo Marino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 5 minutes had been played when some careless play by Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Alonzo Maiorga was slow to take the kick. During this time Tracto's players had a chance to rest. 7 minutes into the match, Tracto's goal looked a bit too open when Teofilo Herauso came free, but Generoso Txomin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paulo Policarpio in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Generoso Txomin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Paulo Policarpio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Generoso Txomin was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. Vincent Janssen took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Generoso Txomin. Generoso Txomin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Carmelo Marino made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Edgardo Turi sent off a good shot on target. Generoso Txomin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vincent Janssen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edgardo Turi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Carmelo Marino made a huge save. When Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s Teofilo Herauso in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tracto's goalie prevented a goal. Primitivo Chepe blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Carmelo Marino having to make a save. 38 minutes into the game, Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s Teofilo Herauso nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Generoso Txomin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Victorio Endira hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. 46 minutes into the match, Vincent Janssen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Generoso Txomin. Tracto's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vincent Janssen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vincent Janssen to make the kick off. Generoso Txomin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Teofilo Herauso went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leonel Petrigai in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Generoso Txomin saved Tracto from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Victorio Endira during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 61 played minutes, Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s Teofilo Herauso shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Generoso Txomin came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ reached it. In the 71st minute Leonel Petrigai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Generoso Txomin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leonel Petrigai's late challenge caught a Tracto's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leonel Petrigai helped the player get up and apologised. After 74 played minutes Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ got a freekick which was hit by Leonel Petrigai. After having played for 76 minutes, Paulo Policarpio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Paulo Policarpio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Tracto's zone, Vincent Janssen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Generoso Txomin came out of the goal and Vincent Janssen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 85 minutes into the game, Moises Edorta was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tracto the free kick. In the 85th match minute, Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Moises Edorta to maneuver through the defense. If Alonzo Maiorga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.

The Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
