In the 43rdth minute of the game Edgard Barros who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nitra FC's Tomaž Turban was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 44 minutes, Edgard Barros made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Nitra FC's Tomaž Turban tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The Nitra FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Club Atlético Atlanta were winning 0-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edgard Barros made a kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edgard Barros in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tomaž Turban saved Nitra FC from getting behind. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Club Atlético Atlanta walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
