Manfredo Travassos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 21st minute, Maximo Villamarin made a precise shot to the right of Luís Eduardo Mazza. Belo Academy's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Red Reign's defense didn't have a chance, in the 25th minute, when Dráusio Madureira scored to the left of an out of position Dawid Ratulowski, making the score, 1-2. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Belo Academy's goalkeeper Luís Eduardo Mazza, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 30th minute Dráusio Madureira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dawid Ratulowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ismael Blanco hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Dawid Ratulowski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Isaltino Dantas in the 44th minute. In the 64thth minute of the game Manfredo Travassos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Red Reign's Dawid Ratulowski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 65th minute Maximo Villamarin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Eduardo Mazza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Belo Academy's Luís Eduardo Mazza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ismael Blanco in the 77th minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Red Reign had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
