After 9 played minutes Free Julian Assange! got a freekick which was hit by Jannic Roukeloes. 11 minutes into the game, Free Julian Assange!'s Jannic Roukeloes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Enzo Noce made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After a rather tough play, Free Julian Assange!'s Jan-Simon Matthieu got a free kick in the 16th minute. Enzo Noce took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jannic Roukeloes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Nerd Herd's Laurits Nyheim quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Glenn Van Hautvin, made in the 19th minute of the game. Enzo Noce made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Tom Araya sent off a good shot on target. Simon Mignolet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marian Banas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When The Nerd Herd's Marian Banas in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Free Julian Assange!'s goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Free Julian Assange!'s Glenn Van Hautvin got a free kick in the 34th minute. Free Julian Assange!'s Simon Mignolet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Odysseas Lagidis in the 38th minute of play. 40 minutes into the match, Free Julian Assange!'s goal looked a bit too open when Odysseas Lagidis came free, but Simon Mignolet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Simon Mignolet stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marian Banas's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. Nuno Darroja kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Marian Banas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 47th minute Marian Banas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Simon Mignolet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marian Banas made a kick off. A collision led to Free Julian Assange! getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Jannic Roukeloes hit a great ball. 55 minutes into the match, The Nerd Herd's Marian Banas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Simon Mignolet narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 62nd minute Jannic Roukeloes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enzo Noce saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tom Araya kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Free Julian Assange! made a substitution. Refael Vanden Bossche replaced Alexander Björnsson. Tom Araya hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. A collision led to The Nerd Herd getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Lars Gjønnes hit a great ball. Enzo Noce showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jannic Roukeloes, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Jannic Roukeloes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Enzo Noce having to make a save. The Nerd Herd's Enzo Noce played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jannic Roukeloes in the 72nd minute of play. Simon Mignolet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan-Kenneth Skog in the 76th minute of play. The Nerd Herd's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Odysseas Lagidis in the 77th minute. The corner led The Nerd Herd's Marian Banas to fire away a dangerous shot which Simon Mignolet despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. If Marian Banas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Nerd Herd's Enzo Noce played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jannic Roukeloes in the 84th minute of play. In the 86th minute, Jannic Roukeloes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Daniël Boffin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 94 minutes in the game, Marian Banas dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. The referee's whistle sounded for the end of the second half. The match was tied at 1-1. None of the players looked happy at the prospect of extra-time.

After resting during the break, the players from both teams went out on the field looking very concentrated. It was now first half of the overtime. Jannic Roukeloes made the kick off and play began. Simon Mignolet came out of the goal in the 104th minute to try and stop a shot by The Nerd Herd's Marian Banas. But to his dismay, Marian Banas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2.
