Zé Faria took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rony Romero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ulisses Britto kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. In the 10th minute, Onze Bravos FC - FDFDF's Paulo Netto ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Zé Faria. Zé Faria yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. 17 minutes into the game, Onze Bravos FC - FDFDF's Jairo Couto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zé Faria made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when João Pedro das Neves got free with Zé Faria in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Naldo Cabral charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Naldo Cabral the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Zé Faria made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when João Pedro das Neves sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, BOA VISTA E.C.'s José Nunes got a free kick in the 34th minute. João Pedro das Neves could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Zé Faria made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Paulo Netto got free with Zé Faria in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jairo Couto to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Vinícius Alagoano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Onze Bravos FC - FDFDF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. BOA VISTA E.C.'s Zé Faria played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo Netto in the 59th minute of play. Zé Faria showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jairo Couto in the 62nd minute of the match. The referee felt a red card was in order, 69 minutes into the game, when Wágner Trevisan put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 68th minute of the game. One of BOA VISTA E.C.:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Onze Bravos FC - FDFDF:s goal. Zé Faria showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rony Romero, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. BOA VISTA E.C.'s Zé Faria played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jairo Couto in the 97th minute of play.

Onze Bravos FC - FDFDF's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
