Amos Maurizi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Loreno Acharan's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. In the 14th minute Aureo Sandoval shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amos Maurizi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Navalito's Loreno Acharan in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye A.S. Udinese's goalie prevented a goal. Emilio Dossena received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Juan Ignacio Grove came out and tried to block the shot, but Emilio Dossena slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 31st minute. In the 35th minute Emilio Dossena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Ignacio Grove saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Navalito's Juan Ignacio Grove played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emilio Dossena in the 36th minute of play. After a rather tough play, A.S. Udinese's Fortunato Leggeri got a free kick in the 37th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

A.S. Udinese's Alessio Ferreri was substituted for Ferenc Kocsis. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eraldo Motta to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Navalito's Paulo José Carioca got a free kick in the 58th minute. 64 minutes into the match, Eraldo Motta had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Juan Ignacio Grove. Navalito's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eraldo Motta was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Arrigo Di Carlo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 88 minutes into the match, Navalito's goal looked a bit too open when Filippo Di Cesare came free, but Juan Ignacio Grove reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Navalito getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Odol Marinot hit a great ball. 90 minutes into the match, Filippo Di Cesare notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Navalito's Juan Ignacio Grove. Juan Ignacio Grove was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 95th minute of the match Remigiusz Sowa shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Juan Ignacio Grove showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. With his leg Amos Maurizi managed to avoid a goal in the 96thth minute, when Navalito's Odol Marinot fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Amos Maurizi stood somewhat misplaced when Odol Marinot came free in front of goal and shot 3-1 to the left of him in the 96 minute.

Many of Navalito's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Navalito may have spent more time on the ball, but A.S. Udinese were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
