Leo Björling made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Thomas Sundling sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven-Ove Forsell in the 19th minute of play forced Bondeträsk FC's goalkeeper Leo Björling to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 44th minute, John Lustig hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in FC Bosses Bodega's zone, Rikard Nyqvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alf Engman came out of the goal and Rikard Nyqvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

In the 52nd minute Tobias Sana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leo Björling saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Bondeträsk FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
