A collision led to Brakkies New Bastards getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Otis Vandamme hit a great ball. In the 13th minute, Lex Van Eycke sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Brakkies New Bastards's Teo Dechamps didn't even have to move. Teo Dechamps stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Abel Van Clijnebreugel's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. Teo Dechamps came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Fauna Utd's Lex Van Eycke. But to his dismay, Lex Van Eycke quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Teo Dechamps showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abel Van Clijnebreugel, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. The Fauna Utd fans' excitement grew in the 27th match minute when Fauna Utd's Abel Van Clijnebreugel looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When Robrecht deconinck fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fauna Utd's protests and gave Robrecht deconinck a yellow card for diving instead. Teo Dechamps showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abel Van Clijnebreugel in the 33rd minute of the match. In the 41st minute, Ive Beckers made a precise shot to the right of Teo Dechamps. Brakkies New Bastards's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4.

In the 50th minute, Ive Beckers hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Teo Dechamps showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abel Van Clijnebreugel, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. 62 minutes had been played when some careless play by Brakkies New Bastards's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Lex Van Eycke was slow to take the kick. During this time Fauna Utd's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Fauna Utd's Lex Van Eycke to fire away a dangerous shot which Teo Dechamps despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Abel Van Clijnebreugel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fauna Utd's supporters rose to their feet, but Abel Van Clijnebreugel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Teo Dechamps breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Teo Dechamps was a little too slow when Abel Van Clijnebreugel got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 72nd minute. The score was now 0-5. If Abel Van Clijnebreugel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gilbert Van den Inde kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Jerry Van De Look kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. 82 minutes into the game, Brakkies New Bastards's Freddy de Cijser nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jacob Vrancx made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-5. Jacob Vrancx took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luka De Roeck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 86 minutes into the match, Fauna Utd's goal looked a bit too open when Gilbert Van den Inde came free, but Jacob Vrancx reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Abel Van Clijnebreugels short, quick shot in the 93rdth minute got Teo Dechamps to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in.

The Brakkies New Bastards fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Fauna Utd were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
