The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd match minute, Barr Point was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Harvey Paget to maneuver through the defense. Syd Knott showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damazy Niemojewski in the 5th minute of the match. Syd Knott made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Artur Wilk in the 9th minute of play. Barr Point's Syd Knott played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damazy Niemojewski in the 13th minute of play. In the 17th minute Barr Point were awarded a corner. Brett Leeson went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Brett Leeson almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Skrwa Sikórz's Przemyslaw Winnicki did a great save. 18 minutes into the match, Barr Point's goal looked a bit too open when Artur Wilk came free, but Syd Knott reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Syd Knott showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damazy Niemojewski, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. In the 26th minute, Wladyslaw Kargul hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice moves Phil Panther could shoot a difficult shot in the 27th minute, which Przemyslaw Winnicki however easily saved by the left post. 28 minutes into the game, Skrwa Sikórz's Damazy Niemojewski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Syd Knott made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Syd Knott showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Artur Wilk, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damazy Niemojewski in the 34th minute of play forced Barr Point's goalkeeper Syd Knott to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edmund Niedbalski struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Syd Knott didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Skrwa Sikórz. Syd Knott stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Damazy Niemojewski's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. Syd Knott took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damazy Niemojewski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Barr Point's Syd Knott played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damazy Niemojewski in the 49th minute of play.

The wind increased when Jamie Mayfield made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Barr Point's goal looked a bit too open when Damazy Niemojewski came free, but Syd Knott reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 56 minutes into the match, Barr Point's goalkeeper Syd Knott had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Artur Wilk. Thanks to some nice moves Artur Wilk could shoot a difficult shot in the 61st minute, which Syd Knott however easily saved by the left post. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Barr Point's goalkeeper Syd Knott, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Artur Wilk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Syd Knott was a little too slow when Damazy Niemojewski got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 66th minute. The score was now 0-2. In the 71st match minute, Barr Point was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jamie Mayfield to maneuver through the defense. Artur Wilk could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Syd Knott made a huge save. Barr Point's Syd Knott played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damazy Niemojewski in the 75th minute of play. Syd Knott showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damazy Niemojewski in the 79th minute of the match. Przemyslaw Winnicki was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 89th minute Damazy Niemojewski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Syd Knott saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Skrwa Sikórz players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
