In the 11th match minute, Pinner Cluj-Napoca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Horaţiu Nuțu to maneuver through the defense. Cristinel Zdrobiş took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dragoş Buzgar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cristinel Zdrobiş made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Toader Otopeanu in the 24th minute of play. In the 25th minute of the match Pinner Cluj-Napoca got a corner. Scorpions -MM-'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cornel Bernea ran over to the corner to take the kick. Pinner Cluj-Napoca's Cornel Bernea was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Cristinel Zdrobiş in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 27th minute Toader Otopeanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristinel Zdrobiş saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristinel Zdrobiş took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gigel Blidaru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Scorpions -MM-'s Eric Cimpoieru got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pinner Cluj-Napoca's Șerban Sitaru proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Pinner Cluj-Napoca from getting a goal against them. When Eric Cimpoieru came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Scorpions -MM- fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eric Cimpoieru couldn't finish the play. Cristinel Zdrobiş took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nistor Cozma, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 41 minutes into the game, one of Scorpions -MM-:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

A hard shot by Cornel Bernea from long distance, 54 minutes into the match, got Cristinel Zdrobiş's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Emil Bărnuțiu kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. The supporters of Scorpions -MM- booed when Pinner Cluj-Napoca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gigel Blidaru didn't get a good kick on the ball. Toader Otopeanu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 64 minutes, Florin Gafița mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pinner Cluj-Napoca and the Scorpions -MM- players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 64th match minute, Pinner Cluj-Napoca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Florin Gafița to maneuver through the defense. Teodor Capătă kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match.

When the final whistle sounded Pinner Cluj-Napoca left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Scorpions -MM-.
