The crowd rose to their feet as Dyllen Severyns kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Rômulo de Almeida. That made the score 1-2 in the 27 minute of play. Róbson Prata's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tommie Vaes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. Tommie Vaes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Róbson Prata went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Daniel Alcântara during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Daniel Alcântara kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Amauri Barros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Alcântara to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 83rd minute Falcão Marques shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommie Vaes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Silver Squad AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tommie Vaes should have stopped the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Amauri Barros kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tommie Vaes. That made the score 1-9 in the 93 minute of play. The Rondinone F.C - FDFDF players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
