The supporters of Monte Hermoso Beach booed when Silver Squad AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dyllen Severyns didn't get a good kick on the ball. But to his dismay, Gregorio Bastian quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. After 76 played minutes Monte Hermoso Beach got a freekick which was hit by Honorio Arias. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gregorio Bastian in the 78th minute of play forced Silver Squad AFC's goalkeeper Tommie Vaes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 80 minutes, Maximo Lico mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Monte Hermoso Beach and the Silver Squad AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 81 played minutes Monte Hermoso Beach got a freekick which was hit by Maximo Lico. 83 minutes into the match, Gregorio Bastian had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tommie Vaes. Silver Squad AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gregorio Bastian was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Tommie Vaes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Maximo Lico went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. Tommie Vaes came out of the goal and Nicolas Pereyra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Gregorio Bastian's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tommie Vaes was relentless in the 99th minute of the game. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Monte Hermoso Beach had won after a very even match.
