After 5 played minutes FC MatriX got a freekick which was hit by Ott Kalju. Eriberto Linhares succeeded in the game's 7th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-1. After 13 minutes, Edvin Kaldalu made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Coelho FC's Paulo Renato Novaes tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. FC MatriX's Aare Loik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valdo Peres in the 19th minute of play. Aare Loik didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Coelho FC's Valdo Peres shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-2 in the ordered_time% minute. Paulo Renato Novaes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edvin Kaldalu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 23 minutes Coelho FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Rene Luzea who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Rene Luzea got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Paulo Renato Novaes quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Paulo Renato Novaes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ott Kalju, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Paulo Renato Novaes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ott Kalju in the 34th minute of play. FC MatriX were awarded a corner in the 35th minute after Coelho FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Rene Luzea took the corner. Rene Luzea made a great header on FC MatriX's corner, it was just that Coelho FC's Paulo Renato Novaes managed to reach the ball for a save. With a little luck, Coelho FC's Paulo Renato Novaes got control of the ball when Rene Luzea tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rene Luzea struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. FC MatriX's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edvin Kaldalu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-2 at half-time.

FC MatriX's Ervin Aher was substituted for Ainar Loss. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ott Kalju stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Paulo Renato Novaes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ott Kalju, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 55 minutes into the match, Coelho FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mario Veevo came free, but Paulo Renato Novaes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 55th minute, Mario Veevo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC MatriX fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2. 68 minutes into the match, Daryl Mizzi notched a goal, 5-2, to the right of Coelho FC's Paulo Renato Novaes. Paulo Renato Novaes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 70 minutes into the game, FC MatriX's Daryl Mizzi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Paulo Renato Novaes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-2. After having played for 76 minutes, Mario Veevo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC MatriX's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mario Veevo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Paulo Renato Novaes came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by FC MatriX's Ott Kalju. But to his dismay, Ott Kalju quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-3. The supporters of Coelho FC booed when FC MatriX was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivan Lidström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Paulo Renato Novaes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rene Luzea, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Coelho FC's Paulo Renato Novaes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daryl Mizzi in the 88th minute of play. Rodriguinho Hermes charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rodriguinho Hermes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 89th match minute, Coelho FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodriguinho Hermes to maneuver through the defense. In the 90th minute, Ott Kalju ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Paulo Renato Novaes was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-3. 95 minutes into the match, Jordi Puig sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Aare Loik threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Jordi Puig this time. For all the effort they put into the match, the Coelho FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for FC MatriX.
