The supporters of Melchester Rovers booed when Brewers FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gian-Carlo Peñafiel didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Melchester Rovers's Roger Sandwall tried to score from far away in the 19th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. A collision led to Brewers FC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Uhin Vielva hit a great ball. Örjan Kvick recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 35 minutes of play, Brewers FC's Vachon Udoy made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Odion Tao was left in no man's land by his defense there! Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Roger Sandwall stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mikael Meck kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. A collision led to Brewers FC getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Gian-Carlo Peñafiel hit a great ball. After 71 minutes, Roger Sandwall made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Brewers FC's Luzuriaga Urtubia tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Mario Garay hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. When Ian Ekenberg came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Melchester Rovers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ian Ekenberg couldn't finish the play. Luzuriaga Urtubia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Örjan Kvick, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Odion Tao stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vachon Udoy's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. 85 minutes into the match, Melchester Rovers's Ian Ekenberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luzuriaga Urtubia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 90 minutes, Örjan Kvick managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Melchester Rovers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Örjan Kvick was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Melchester Rovers fully deserved thier win.
