In the 3rd minute, Santo Jerrold got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 7 minutes into the match, Guiñazú FC's goal looked a bit too open when Augusto Ortzi came free, but Ivan Castel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 11 minutes of play, El Torero's Augusto Ortzi made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ivan Castel was left in no man's land by his defense there! Carmelo Uhin scored 1-1 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Isaias Lohitzun, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Remigio Cordeal charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Remigio Cordeal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Guiñazú FC booed when El Torero was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Remigio Cordeal didn't get a good kick on the ball. 20 minutes into the match, Felipe Salvino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Isaias Lohitzun. El Torero's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Felipe Salvino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Feliberto Bibiano's late challenge caught a Guiñazú FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Feliberto Bibiano helped the player get up and apologised. Sebastian Naldo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Felipe Salvino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Sebastian Naldo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Isaias Lohitzun made a huge save. In the 27th match minute, El Torero was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aaron Kimetz to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to El Torero getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Aaron Kimetz hit a great ball. In the 31st minute of the match Carmelo Uhin shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Isaias Lohitzun showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 31st match minute, Guiñazú FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastian Naldo to maneuver through the defense. In the 34th minute, Augusto Ortzi made a precise shot to the right of Ivan Castel. Guiñazú FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Augusto Ortzi was the one to do the kick off. El Torero's Isaias Lohitzun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carmelo Uhin in the 52nd minute of play. In the 55th minute, Remigio Cordeal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 56th match minute, Guiñazú FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastian Naldo to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Camilo Oriol in the 57th minute of play forced Guiñazú FC's goalkeeper Ivan Castel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 60 minutes into the game, Felipe Salvino cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Isaias Lohitzun was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 65 minutes into the match, Luis Elorri notched a goal, 4-2, to the right of El Torero's Isaias Lohitzun. Isaias Lohitzun was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 68 minutes into the match, El Torero's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Naldo came free, but Isaias Lohitzun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Augusto Ortzi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ivan Castel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santo Jerrold in the 74th minute of play. In the 78th minute Sebastian Naldo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isaias Lohitzun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Aaron Kimetz was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 78 minutes had been played. Aaron Kimetz hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Camilo Oriol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivan Castel having to interfere. Ivan Castel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santo Jerrold in the 85th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Augusto Ortzi during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 87th minute, Augusto Ortzi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Santo Jerrold received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Ivan Castel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Felipe Salvino hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match.
