In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Saiko FC's goalkeeper Dráuzio Sena, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Real Unión CF's Blair McCormick played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dinei Laguna in the 70th minute of play. 70 minutes into the game, Saiko FC's Gustavo Vinhas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Blair McCormick made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. Saiko FC's Dráuzio Sena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Odilon Rozano in the 79th minute of play. If Otsoa Alberca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
