Spectators: 37 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Edmundo Catarinense got the match started through his kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Rapinantes F.C.'s Sílvio Abraão slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Merlin Dolan. That made the score 1-0 after 7 minutes of play. After 10 minutes of play, Zamalek FC's Malcolm Neal made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cauan Neves was left in no man's land by his defense there! Sílvio Abraão scored 2-1 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Merlin Dolan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Sílvio Abraão made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 19thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Merlin Dolan would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Malcolm Neal in the 23rd minute of play forced Rapinantes F.C.'s goalkeeper Cauan Neves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wiliam de Lima hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Cauan Neves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Malcolm Neal in the 25th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Denny Olson during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Rapinantes F.C. booed when Zamalek FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Denny Olson didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 30 played minutes Zamalek FC got a freekick which was hit by Tomas Schwartz. Breno Neiva took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 31st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Merlin Dolan. Zamalek FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Zamalek FC's zone, Sílvio Abraão stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Merlin Dolan came out of the goal and Sílvio Abraão tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Merlin Dolan made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Sílvio Abraão sent off a good shot on target. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Malcolm Neal made the kick off in the second half. In the 59th minute Edmundo Catarinense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Merlin Dolan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cauan Neves made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carson Sherrill in the 74th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Sílvio Abraão managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rapinantes F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Sílvio Abraão was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Merlin Dolan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 80th play minutes Edmundo Catarinense shot 3-2, a short shot which went by Merlin Dolan and just under the crossbar into goal. When Denny Olson was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 84 minutes had been played. Denny Olson hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Luís Paulo Bertassi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Merlin Dolan having to interfere. Edmundo Catarinense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Merlin Dolan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sílvio Abraão in the 94th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Zamalek FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Rapinantes F.C..
