Adriano Contratas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Macias Piñango read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. Adriano Contratas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Macias Piñango having to make a save. Macias Piñango made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nunez Freijo in the 25th minute of play. Macias Piñango didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Leeds United's Adriano Contratas shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-3 in the ordered_time% minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Adriano Contratas made a kick off. 汪乐广 struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Carnot's zone, Adriano Contratas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Macias Piñango came out of the goal and Adriano Contratas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
