Algarrobo's defense didn't have a chance, in the 3rd minute, when Svend Betz scored to the left of an out of position José Chilavert, making the score, 1-0. Svend Betz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. José Chilavert took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Svend Betz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Algarrobo's José Chilavert got control of the ball when Svend Betz tried to sneak it across the goal line. José Chilavert was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Svend Betz showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 17 minute of play. Evelio Matetich kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Svend Betz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but José Chilavert made a huge save. Ye Wei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilfredo Marchetti, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. 25 minutes into the match, FSX UNITED's goal looked a bit too open when Wilfredo Marchetti came free, but Ye Wei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. José Chilavert made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Evelio Matetich sent off a good shot on target. 28 minutes into the match, Algarrobo's goal looked a bit too open when Svend Betz came free, but José Chilavert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Karl-Åke Kvist blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without José Chilavert having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Svend Betz managed to get in a good position for a shot. FSX UNITED's supporters rose to their feet, but Svend Betz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. José Chilavert breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 38 minutes into the match, Algarrobo's goal looked a bit too open when Svend Betz came free, but José Chilavert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Svend Betz in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck José Chilavert prevented the ball from getting in the gole. FSX UNITED were awarded a corner in the 39th minute after Algarrobo's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Zebastian Spets took the corner. The corner ended in Zebastian Spets almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Algarrobo's José Chilavert did a great save. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Svend Betz made a kick off. Xamín Achondo hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Algarrobo's Juan Ignacio Vera couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for FSX UNITED. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Svend Betz managed to get in a good position for a shot. FSX UNITED's supporters rose to their feet, but Svend Betz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. José Chilavert breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Algarrobo made a substitution. Edmundo Cañas replaced Diego Armando Lamb. FSX UNITED made a substitution. Thomas Cochrane replaced Evelio Matetich. José Chilavert showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karl-Åke Kvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amancio Baesler in the 66th minute of play forced Algarrobo's goalkeeper José Chilavert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. José Chilavert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcelo Salas in the 82nd minute of the match. In the 83rd minute Amancio Baesler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Chilavert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 85 minutes into the match, Algarrobo's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelo Salas came free, but José Chilavert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundo Cañas in the 92nd minute of play forced FSX UNITED's goalkeeper Ye Wei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 93 minutes FSX UNITED's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Juan Ignacio Vera who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Algarrobo's corner Rafael Nadal fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ye Wei quite easily take care of the ball. FSX UNITED's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
