Spectators: 5295 (Terracing: 3972, Seating: 1218, VIP seats: 105) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Fabricio Frasco kicked off to start the match. With a little luck, Real Ayuntamiento CF's Fidel Monte got control of the ball when Fabricio Frasco tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fidel Monte stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fabricio Frasco's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Faustino Frichoso in the 9th minute of play forced Águilas Poblanas's goalkeeper Saverio Chuse to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 10 minutes, Raul Luken managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Real Ayuntamiento CF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Raul Luken was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Águilas Poblanas's Saverio Chuse played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Faustino Frichoso in the 14th minute of play. Fidel Monte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabricio Frasco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 17 minutes, Raul Luken managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Real Ayuntamiento CF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Raul Luken was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 20 minutes into the match, Águilas Poblanas's goal looked a bit too open when Faustino Frichoso came free, but Saverio Chuse reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 24th minute of the match Albano Min shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Saverio Chuse showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Fidel Monte made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fabricio Frasco in the 25th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Faustino Frichoso during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Fidel Monte made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Fabricio Frasco sent off a good shot on target. In the 33rd minute, Faustino Frichoso ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Saverio Chuse was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Águilas Poblanas's Fabricio Frasco slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Fidel Monte. That made the score 1-1 after 39 minutes of play. 43 minutes into the match, Fabricio Frasco notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Real Ayuntamiento CF's Fidel Monte. Fidel Monte was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Águilas Poblanas made a substitution. Jairo Barros replaced Mauricio Montes. Fabricio Frasco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 53 played minutes Águilas Poblanas got a freekick which was hit by Donato Sedeni. 54 minutes into the match, Real Ayuntamiento CF's Leonel Felipo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Saverio Chuse narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Faustino Frichoso in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Saverio Chuse prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 58 played minutes Águilas Poblanas got a freekick which was hit by Virgilio Laurendi. Fabricio Frasco kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Fidel Monte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabricio Frasco in the 63rd minute of the match. In the 64thth minute of the game Fabricio Frasco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Real Ayuntamiento CF's Fidel Monte was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fabricio Frasco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fidel Monte having to interfere. Real Ayuntamiento CF's Rosendo Urbasa was substituted for Raul Luken. 71 minutes into the game, Donato Teyo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Águilas Poblanas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Real Ayuntamiento CF the free kick. In the 71st match minute, Águilas Poblanas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Donato Teyo to maneuver through the defense. Saverio Chuse stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Faustino Frichoso's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. After a rather tough play, Real Ayuntamiento CF's Marcelino Luke got a free kick in the 77th minute. Real Ayuntamiento CF made a substitution. Clemente Goyo replaced Marcelino Luke. 85 minutes into the match, Real Ayuntamiento CF's goal looked a bit too open when Fabricio Frasco came free, but Fidel Monte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Real Ayuntamiento CF's Fidel Monte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juan Abascal in the 89th minute of play. Albano Min hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Jairo Barros was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 92nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The supporters of Águilas Poblanas booed when Real Ayuntamiento CF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Melquiades Ignado didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 94th minute of the match Jairo Barros sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fidel Monte skillfully saved the ball.

In the 100th minute, Leonel Felipo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabricio Frasco in the 102nd minute of play forced Real Ayuntamiento CF's goalkeeper Fidel Monte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Real Ayuntamiento CF's Rosendo Urbasa got a good chance for a goal in the 103rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Real Ayuntamiento CF fans' excitement grew in the 104th match minute when Real Ayuntamiento CF's Faustino Frichoso looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The Real Ayuntamiento CF supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Real Ayuntamiento CF would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
