Cayetano Behe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Noworolnik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Hahay's Przemyslaw Ankiewicz got a free kick in the 17th minute. Kacper Dziatkowski hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. After 21 played minutes, Deportivo Balvanera's Severiano Taurino shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Zbyszek Pilipiec came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Deportivo Balvanera reached it. Zbyszek Pilipiec made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florencio Paz in the 24th minute of play. After 28 played minutes Hahay got a freekick which was hit by Kacper Dziatkowski. The Deportivo Balvanera fans' excitement grew in the 29th match minute when Deportivo Balvanera's Diego Milito looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Robert Roman hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Przemyslaw Ankiewicz charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Przemyslaw Ankiewicz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 45th match minute, Hahay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Przemyslaw Ankiewicz to maneuver through the defense. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The supporters of Deportivo Balvanera booed when Hahay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position.
