The audience was convinced that Shi Jian's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Manga Santos was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. The Atlético de Caracas fans' excitement grew in the 13th match minute when Atlético de Caracas's Shi Jian looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a rather tough play, Atlético de Caracas's Piotr Moizuk got a free kick in the 16th minute. The long shot by Pedro Luiz Ceresso in the 17th minute really tested Zarando Calva's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After 18 minutes of play, Atlético de Caracas's Shi Jian made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Manga Santos was left in no man's land by his defense there! MACUMBA's Manga Santos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Shi Jian in the 22nd minute of play. Atlético de Caracas's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gabirel Caceo in the 23rd minute. The corner ended in Shi Jian almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but MACUMBA's Manga Santos did a great save. MACUMBA's Manga Santos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Shi Jian in the 27th minute of play. Shi Jian struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Manga Santos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atlético de Caracas. Manga Santos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Shi Jian's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. Atlético de Caracas's Shi Jian got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Shi Jian took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Manga Santos. Manga Santos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Janes Gobbelijns received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Manga Santos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Atlético de Caracas's Shi Jian got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Atlético de Caracas made a substitution. Aires Laguno replaced Shi Jian. The MACUMBA players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Atlético de Caracas were winning 0-5.

The wind increased when Feliciano Jaen made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, MACUMBA's goal looked a bit too open when Aires Laguno came free, but Manga Santos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Atlético de Caracas's Gabirel Caceo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Manga Santos in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Atlético de Caracas's Aires Laguno was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 55th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. After 58 played minutes MACUMBA got a freekick which was hit by Oséias Viana. With a little luck, MACUMBA's Manga Santos got control of the ball when Rolando Alley tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 62nd minute Atlético de Caracas were awarded a corner. Gabirel Caceo went to the cornerflag to take it. Manga Santos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aires Laguno in the 63rd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Janes Gobbelijns got free with Manga Santos in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 71st minute, Oséias Viana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Atlético de Caracas's Gabirel Caceo shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 71st minute of play. The shot was stopped by Manga Santos but with some difficulty. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aires Laguno in the 73rd minute of play forced MACUMBA's goalkeeper Manga Santos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 74 minutes into the match, Atlético de Caracas's goal looked a bit too open when Feliciano Jaen came free, but Zarando Calva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aires Laguno in the 76th minute of play forced MACUMBA's goalkeeper Manga Santos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aires Laguno might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Manga Santos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aires Laguno ran back to his position shaking his head. Manga Santos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aires Laguno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to MACUMBA getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Oséias Viana hit a great ball. Atlético de Caracas's Yaar O'Connell was substituted for Gabirel Caceo. After a rather tough play, MACUMBA's Oséias Viana got a free kick in the 80th minute. In the 81st minute, Janes Gobbelijns fired a really elegant long shot, but Manga Santos threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. 82 minutes into the match, MACUMBA's goal looked a bit too open when Aires Laguno came free, but Manga Santos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 86th minute, José Jofre hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 93 minutes into the match, MACUMBA's goal looked a bit too open when Janes Gobbelijns came free, but Manga Santos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aires Laguno in the 94th minute of play forced MACUMBA's goalkeeper Manga Santos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Atlético de Caracas's Aires Laguno in the 96th minute got a chance for a shot 96th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye MACUMBA's goalie prevented a goal. Atlético de Caracas's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
