In the 19th minute, Ernst Dahlquist fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Denis Paulin, passed just outside the right post. Defensores de Lombroso's Denis Paulin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernst Dahlquist in the 19th minute of play. DIF LEEDS BK's Östen Hedin got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Teofilo Esdras had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. But to his dismay, Celso Sauveur quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. When the match was over Defensores de Lombroso could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than DIF LEEDS BK throughout the match.
