The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Fabio Nabar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nestor Tesone might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Raimond Lenk. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nestor Tesone ran back to his position shaking his head. Raimond Lenk made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nestor Tesone in the 10th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gaspar Montxo during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Piratas FC getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Gaspar Montxo hit a great ball. In the 16th minute Spyros Zacharioudakis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Simon Hori saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nestor Tesone in the 19th minute of play forced Piratas FC's goalkeeper Raimond Lenk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Piratas FC's zone, Nestor Tesone stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Raimond Lenk came out of the goal and Nestor Tesone tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nestor Tesone got free with Raimond Lenk in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Raimond Lenk made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nestor Tesone in the 26th minute. Los Laguneros de AT's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Cihan Baydar in the 27th minute. A nice corner shot did that Cihan Baydar got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Raimond Lenk quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Gaspar Montxo hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Raimond Lenk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nestor Tesone, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Los Laguneros de AT's Simon Hori played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Spyros Zacharioudakis in the 36th minute of play. Raimond Lenk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nestor Tesone, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nestor Tesone in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Raimond Lenk saved Piratas FC from getting behind. 45 minutes into the match, Los Laguneros de AT's goal looked a bit too open when Damian Precioso came free, but Simon Hori reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nestor Tesone was the one to do the kick off. After 66 played minutes Piratas FC got a freekick which was hit by Gaspar Montxo. Raimond Lenk came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Los Laguneros de AT's Nestor Tesone. But to his dismay, Nestor Tesone quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Los Laguneros de AT's Radomil Frodyma quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Roman Steven, made in the 73rd minute of the game. Nestor Tesone blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Raimond Lenk having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nestor Tesone in the 83rd minute of play forced Piratas FC's goalkeeper Raimond Lenk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 84 minutes into the match, Piratas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nestor Tesone came free, but Raimond Lenk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roman Steven made in the 86th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Los Laguneros de AT's Juan Bixintxo. Nestor Tesone might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Raimond Lenk. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nestor Tesone ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nestor Tesone in the 87th minute of play forced Piratas FC's goalkeeper Raimond Lenk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Raimond Lenk came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Los Laguneros de AT's Nestor Tesone. But to his dismay, Nestor Tesone quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. 92 minutes into the game, Los Laguneros de AT's Nestor Tesone nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Raimond Lenk made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. In the 95th minute, one of Piratas FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Piratas FC. For all the effort they put into the match, the Piratas FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Los Laguneros de AT.
